Mike is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a B.Comm from the University of Cape Town. Mike is a founding partner of FVC Endurance Fund, an offshore hedge fund. The fund was initiated in 2014 and Mike is the Chief Operating Officer of the Fund. Prior to this Mike worked as a partner at Ernst & Young (EY) from 2000 to 2014. His last role was leader of EY Advisory’s private sector market in Africa. This corporate consulting business deployed more than 500 consultants. Mike was responsible for setting the strategy and leading this business as well as client account leadership and delivery of consulting projects. Prior to this Mike had responsibility for establishing and building EY SA’s management consulting business. As well as leading this business he managed key consulting projects.
In his management consulting career which has spanned 20 years he had led projects to corporates in various industries providing consulting services that include strategy, finance, technology, supply chain and operations improvement. Mike is married to Yvonne and has 2 sons.
