The District Leadership Programme (DLP) IS aimed at District officials to strengthen their ability to provide support and supervision to school leaders.
Key Outcome
District officials have the leadership capacity, management capability and appropriate dispositions to provide improved planning, support and oversight to principals and schools, improve their engagement with the public and ultimately contribute meaningfully to the improvement of teaching and learning in schools.
Duration and Structure
The DLP programme runs for 10-12 months and includes a combination of 3 study blocks, an Action Learning Project, four assessments with feedback loops, coaching, mentoring and supervision.
